Analytics and ad tools

At the time of writing we do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any similar advertising or analytics product on this website. If we add a basic analytics tool later, we will update this policy and note it on this page before switching it on.

Your rights under Canadian law

Casa Verde is a private-sector business in Toronto, ON and we are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Residents of Ontario have additional rights under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act where applicable. You have the right to:

If you are a resident of Ontario, PIPEDA applies in parallel with Ontario-specific statutes. The Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario accepts complaints that fall under provincial jurisdiction.

Rights for EU, UK and other visitors

If you are visiting from the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK equivalent give you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port the information you have voluntarily given us, and to object to the processing. At the counter

When you order in person we handle your payment through a point-of-sale terminal provided by a Canadian payment processor; we see your name, the last four digits of the card, and the amount. We do not store full card numbers. The processor is bound by its own privacy policy. We do not keep a customer database from in-store sales.

Children

Casa Verde is a restaurant website. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us an email, write to hola@muchoburritor.com and we'll delete it.

Retention

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the effective date at the top and keep the previous version on file for six months. Significant changes (new processor, new category of data) will be noted on the home page for at least two weeks.

We do not accept payment through this website. If a page under our name is asking you to enter card details or personal data, stop and close the tab. We will have no record of the campaign. Almost always, the answer is: not us.
